You are invited to Knox United Church to engage in conversations that can help heal the world amid the uncertain, fragmented lives we find ourselves immersed in today. Teresa L. Chilkowich, facilitates experiential workshops to help people heal our relationship with the planet by collectively exploring our inner responses to the condition of the world. These workshops are based on Dr. Joanna Macy’s Work that Reconnects.
YOU ARE INVITED to connect with others who have experienced or been motivated by the “Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream” symposium and/or the experiential “Work that Reconnects” of Dr. Joanna Macy to engage in conversations that can help change the world amid the fragmented,
uncertain lives we find ourselves immersed in today.
Workshop participants come away from these experiences more fully appreciating:
• their abilities and the far-reaching impacts of their efforts
• their presence on this planet at this challenging and exciting time in our history
• the emotions they feel and the importance of honouring these feelings as
necessary feedback for a healthy community to thrive
• the diversity among us and the unique gifts that we offer to the collective whole
• the importance of community and connecting with ourselves, each other, and the
living Earth.
Saturday, February 20th, 2010, 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Fee: $20
