Welcome to our Community Events Page. Part of our commitment at the Knox Performance Centre is to provide space and support to community groups and assist with activating spaces and place-making in Prince George, particularly our downtown. We believe that our community is more vibrant and resilient when the performing arts are nurtured and supported in tangible ways. Beyond the centre itself, another way we can do that is to help promote what others are offering in the space.

A Little Noir

Enjoy a Parisian soirée in an intimate setting, featuring French and American chamber music. The PGSO players are joined by pianist Eleni Stampoli.
This is a Candlelight performance - enjoy great music in an unique setting
Chamber Socials are designed to combine live chamber music, appetizers, and a cash bar to make for an intimate night out.
Tier A seats are at tables on the main floor and include appetizers
Tier C seats are on the balcony and do not include appetizers
There is general seating within each zone.
Prince George Cantata Singers
The Prince George Cantata Singers are pleased to present Sunshine and Roses 2024 Spring Concert!
The choir will paint a picture of intense beauty, warm breezes and green meadows as they take you on a journey through a garden of all things Sunshine and Roses. The program will include an array of repertoire ranging from familiar and uplifting songs such as Here Comes the Sun by George Harrison to songs written by fabulous Canadian composers including Indigenous composer Andrew Balfour's Vision Chant.
The PGCS are especially excited to share the stage with Amy Blanding, known for her powerful voice and profound stage presence, along with Britt Meierhofer, Genevieve Tucker, Melissa Walker and Torie Beram, some of Prince George's extraordinarily talented musicians.
Amy and her band will be premiering several new songs, and will also be singing some selections with the choir including Rise and Agitate, a very inspiring anthem written for female voices.
Join us at the Knox performance Hall on April 6th at 7:30 pm. This concert WILL sell out so buy your tickets before they are all gone!

The Ebbs

Come enjoy a night of live music and Silent Auction Support the Ecole Lac des Bois Grade 7 school trip to Quebec!! Amazing Local Prizes Event sponsored by The Ebbs and Knox Performance Centre. Tickets are $25. Cash bar and concessions available.
Dak'et Shun Inli 2023
Dak’et, Shun Inli is “Music in the Fall” in the Dakelh language and we are celebrating arts on Lheidli T’enneh Territory with fantastic live music from Mattmac, ZENON+, and Simbiyez Wilson. This eclectic evening of music will weave together elements of pop, hip hop and R&B, and these artists all push the boundaries of genre to create music that is new and exciting!

Nove Voce
Nove Voce presents The Grinch.
The Nove Voce Choral Society was formed in 2005 by a small group of Robin Norman's accomplished voice students. The initial group started as volunteers for the Salvation Army's Christmas Kettle Campaign, singing carols in various locations, and raising over $1,000.
Evolving from this small group, the choir has grown to at least twice the size (season membership varies). We perform a regular choral season, as well as sing for charity and community events, paid gigs, and collaborations with local and regional performers.
